The original hard rock festival, which headbanged its way through the '80s and '90s, makes its sensational return almost exactly 10 years to the day since it disbanded in 1996.

With Monsters Of Rock's 'spiritual home' Donington now home to Download, the event has been moved to Milton Keynes and is expected to unfold over one stage with seven bands.

Other new attractions will include a master class tent and a signing tent.
