MOOR AND COAST FESTIVAL 2008

The Moor and Coast Festival takes place in Whitby, North Yorkshire with most of the musical action centred around the town's Community Centre. The event is mainly folk-based with a slant on traditional music, song, dance and arts.

In the town centre there will also be singarounds, Ceilidhs, workshops and street entertainment. Waterson: Carthy, John Tams and Barry Coope and Chris Parkinson are already booked, but expect more big folk acts to be announced.
