O2 WIRELESS MUSIC FESTIVAL (LONDON) 2006

Returning for its second year, Wireless Festival takes over Hyde Park for five massive back-to-back shows, featuring a diverse spectrum of acts that range from stadium fillers like Depeche Mode to emerging underground talent.

Spread across three venues, the action starts from 1pm (Thursday, Friday) or 2pm (Saturday, Sunday) with the music continuing until about 10.30pm. The non-camping event is given its 'festival feel' with the inclusion of stuff like market stalls, 'chill out' areas, acoustic performance space, and street theatre. Around 30,000 people are expected each day.
