Quart Festival began back in 1992 and has since evolved into the largest festival in Norway. The festival mixes rock, pop and rap and in recent events it has attracted the likes of Kanye West, Morrissey and Fatboy Slim.
The site is a beautiful park at Kristainsand, Vest-Agder and it can house around 40,000 revellers who, if they get too hot, can have a swim in the parks pond. The music unfolds across five stages during the four-day event while alternative entertainment includes a cinema.
Once the music comes to a halt many revellers hit the town centre to party until the early hours in the many nightspots.
