SOUNDWAVE FESTIVAL 2008

Soundwave is for those who like things a little heavier. The festival is proud of the fact that it doesn't use corporate sponsorship, but instead brings a storming rock line-up to Sydney, Perth and Brisbane.

The one-day affair has seen The Deftones, Juliette and the Licks and +44 perform in the last few years which boasts performers across three stages, a market and fairground rides.

The one-day affair has seen The Deftones, Juliette and the Licks and +44 perform in the last few years which boasts performers across three stages, a market and fairground rides.

There are also bands hand-picked from each of the local areas and the event also has a signing tent, food stalls and affordable drinks. Organisers are also eager to point out that there are lots of portaloos.
