SWN FESTIVAL 2008

After the street-stomping success of the Swn Festival in 2007, Huw Stephens and Drowned In Sound have teamed up again to drag out the festival season in 2008.

The November festival follows the 'crawl' thesis of The Great Escape or Camden Crawl, except around venues in Cardiff, Wales. The three-day event will showcase some of the country's best new acts as well as bringing some non-Welsh artists to the capital.

The November festival follows the 'crawl' thesis of The Great Escape or Camden Crawl, except around venues in Cardiff, Wales. The three-day event will showcase some of the country's best new acts as well as bringing some non-Welsh artists to the capital.

Last year saw The Cribs, Annie Mac and Sons and Daughters all perform some expect the Welsh capital to have top-quality acts again this time around. The event also includes art exhibitions, films and nights curated by individual, but well respected, record companies.less
