Not U2's guitarist instead The Edge is the new name for T on the Fringe, but it will deliver pretty much the same thing: a consistent line-up of fresh talent and established acts of national and international calibre to the Scottish capital.

Six venues around Edinburgh host over 130 acts across August from the mighty Meadowbank Stadium, which houses 25,000 revellers, to the more intimate Henry's Cellar Bar.

Morrissey, Foo Fighters and Radiohead have all performed in recent years, so make sure you book the whole of August off!
