Inspired by the 1973 horror movie of the same name (but fortunately without any human sacrifice), The Wickerman is a family friendly festival that doesn't take itself too seriously, placing the emphasis heavily on atmosphere. Organisers have even admitted to being a bit 'amateurish' at times, but when people keep coming back and having fun who cares?!

Two main stages (the Woodward Stage and Summer Isle Stage), as well as a dance tent and an acoustic & reggae arena, play host to a mix of festival veterans (Alabama 3, The Stranglers in recent years) and new music.less
