WIMBORNE FOLK FESTIVAL 2008

The Wimborne Folk Festival began in 1980 underneath the shadow of the Church of Cuthburga, Wimborne, Dorset as a traditional festival of folk, dance, English and Celtic music and song over one day, before it morphed into the three-day soiree it is today.

As the title suggests, the event if a folk affair with well-known guitar-wielders like Lau, Kris Drever and Grada preparing to appear this June. There is also plenty of alternative entertainment to tickle your fancy from Ceilidhs to Morris Dancing displays.
